Emergent Films is a prominent video production house with production capabilities across the globe, and offices in SG and TH, that focuses on end-to-end production services for Agencies and Brands alike, spanning across producing various formats of work, ranging from TVCs, Corporate & Branding Films, Campaign & Social Media Videos, Music Videos to Narrative/Short Films.
We are a creative collective that works with a multitude of stakeholders from Agency producers, Directors, DoPs, Producers & more, in the pursuit of creating one-of-a-kind, audio-visual experiences. We believe in the collaborative process of creating, and are on the hunt for a Senior Business Development Executive.
We are looking for a Senior Business Development Executive to join our team full-time. This role sits at the forefront of the company's growth, driving new business opportunities, and positioning Emergent Films as a trusted creative production partner across the region.
Responsibilities
Business Development & Growth
- Drive new business opportunities across agencies, brands, and direct clients
- Identify and pursue leads through outreach, networking, and industry engagement
- Develop and execute strategies to grow revenue streams across different formats and markets
- Stay on top of industry trends, client needs, and emerging opportunities
Client Acquisition & Relationship Management
- Build and maintain strong relationships with agency producers, brand managers, and key decision-makers
- Lead initial client conversations, understand briefs, and position Emergent Films capabilities effectively
- Manage the full sales cycle from prospecting to closing
Pitching & Proposal Development
- Collaborate with internal teams (Directors, Producers, Creatives) to craft compelling proposals and treatments
- Translate client briefs into strategic approaches and creative opportunities
- Present ideas confidently to clients and stakeholders
- Ensure proposals are aligned with both creative ambition and business viability
Market Positioning & Strategy
- Strengthen Emergent Films presence within the advertising and production ecosystem
- Represent the company at industry events, networking sessions, and client meetings
- Contribute to brand positioning, partnerships, and strategic collaborations
- Provide insights on market demand to inform internal direction and offerings
Internal Collaboration
- Work closely with Producers and Project Teams to ensure smooth handover from sales to production
- Align client expectations with production capabilities and timelines
Compensation & Benefits

Requirements
- 3-6 years experience in Business Development, Sales, Account Management, or Partnerships within Film/Production, Advertising, or Marketing
- Strong network within agencies and/or brands is highly preferred
- Proven track record in driving revenue or securing new business
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
- Ability to understand creative work and translate it into business opportunities
- Strong sense of ownership and accountability in hitting targets
Bonus if you have experience with:
- Regional or multi-country campaigns
- Working closely with production teams or creative agencies
- Understanding of production workflows and budgeting
