Position:Senior Business Analyst Transaction Banking(Cash Management / Payments)

Location:Singapore

Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced Business Analyst to support delivery of Corporate/Transaction Banking technology initiatives, primarily in the Cash Management and Payments domain. The role will work closely with business stakeholders, technology teams, and vendors to gather, analyze, and translate business requirements into functional and technical solutions within an Agile delivery environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Engage with business stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document business and functional requirements
  • Analyze business dependencies, priorities, and process flows
  • Prepare BRD/FSD, functional specifications, and acceptance criteria
  • Create and manage user stories, backlog grooming, and prioritization
  • Conduct sprint planning, review, and requirement walkthrough sessions with development teams
  • Support solution design discussions with technology and vendor teams
  • Coordinate UAT planning, testing cycles, and defect resolution
  • Translate complex business requirements into clear technical requirements
  • Manage stakeholder communication and expectations across business and technology teams
  • Ensure delivered solutions meet business needs and regulatory requirements

Required Skills & Experience

  • 12+ years of IT experience with at least 5 years in Banking/Payments projects
  • Strong experience in Transaction Banking Cash Management (mandatory)
  • Prior hands-on Business Analyst experience in banking platforms
  • Experience working in Agile delivery methodology (Scrum/Kanban)
  • Strong documentation experience (BRD, FSD, user stories, acceptance criteria)
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Experience working with cross-cultural and offshore teams

Preferred / Good to Have

  • Experience with Finastra products (Fusion Corporate Channels preferred)
  • Knowledge of Corporate Payment systems and ASEAN payment schemes
  • Exposure to Core Banking platforms
