Job Briefs:
As a business analyst, you will be joining a team of engineers and developers who are passionate aboutnew IT systems, software development and working with the Business units toroll out new products, offerings and improvements in customer experience.
Responsibilities
- Work closely with business units /product / functional team to understand new business needs
- Translate business requirements into technical requirements that encompass the end-to-end IT ecosystem
- Produce design impact analysis documentation that highlight changes in all impacted systems, and any potential changes on interface level
- Validate detailed design documents from engineers and developers, and oversee the implementation of the required changes from build, test to deployment
- Work with architect in building the solution roadmap and major changes to the stack
- Perform internal QA before releasing features to end-user for UAT
- Senior candidates may be asked to manage a team of junior business analysts and quality assurance engineers.
Requirements
- BSc/BA in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field
- Hands-on experience with software development and design documentation (such as sequence diagram, UML, ERD)
- Solid domain knowledge on BSS applications - which include portals, CRM, Billing, Order management with deep domain knowledge in portal/CRM. Additional knowledge in resource management and provisioning will be an added advantage.
- Familiarity with system integration via service bus or API management platform to external systems such as Billing, ERP, Payment Gateway and Enterprise Warehouse and Analytics
- Familiarity with Agile development methodologies
- Ability to articulate technical detail sto different group of people within the organization
- Familiar with standard frameworks such as TOGAF, TMF SID, eTOM and TAM
- Knowledge in fixed service provider products (MetroE, L2/L3 , Internet services, Managed Network/Security) and PaaS productization will be an added advantage
