Senior Business Analyst

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Senior Business Analyst with expertise in Core Banking and Payment systems, requirement gathering, stakeholder management, and functional testing within global banking environments. Skilled in SWIFT, ISO20022, UAT/SIT testing, and delivering scalable banking solutions. Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving abilities with experience working across cross-functional international teams.

Mandatory Skill-set

• Must have 8+ years of experience as a Business Analyst in Banking/Payment systems;
• Should have strong experience in Core Banking and Payment applications;
• Must have hands-on knowledge of SWIFT, ISO20022, SEPA, RTGS, ACH, Cross-border payments, and payment processing workflows;
• Strong requirement gathering, BRD/FSD documentation, stakeholder management, and solution mapping skills;
• Experience working closely with Business users, Operations, Developers, Architects, and external vendors;
• Strong experience in UAT, SIT, regression, integration, and functional testing;
• Ability to manage defects, testing cycles, risk/issues, and project coordination activities;
• Must have experience with tools like JIRA, ALM/QC, Cucumber, Kafka, Kibana, Elastic Search, and Graph databases;
• Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills in multicultural/global environments;
• Someone proactive, hands-on, detail-oriented, and capable of handling complex banking transformation projects independently.

Desired Skill-set

• Strong experience in Core Banking and Payment systems, including SWIFT, ISO20022, SEPA, RTGS, and Cross-border payments;
• Expertise in Business Analysis, stakeholder management, BRD/FSD documentation, and UAT/SIT functional testing within banking environments.

Responsibilities

• Gather and analyze business requirements, conduct workshops, and prepare BRD/FSD documentation;
• Coordinate with Business users, Operations, Developers, Architects, and external vendors to define solutions;
• Manage functional testing activities including SIT, UAT, regression, and integration testing;
• Prepare and maintain test scenarios, test cases, defect reports, and testing documentation;
• Support payment and core banking system enhancements, issue resolution, and risk management activities;
• Communicate project status, manage stakeholder expectations, and ensure timely delivery of solutions.
