Monee is the fintech arm of Sea Group, offering a range of financial services including payments, lending, and digital banking. The Strategic Planning & Analytics team drives high-impact strategic initiatives across these verticals while supporting leadership with performance analysis and preparation for key meetings. We aim to deliver value that transcends daily operations — often requiring a cross-functional, outside-in perspective grounded in rigorous strategic thinking.
We are looking for a strong individual contributor to join our fintech SP&A team. You will lead analytical modules within larger strategic projects and support the Group President with data-backed business reviews. This role is ideal for candidates who are passionate about fintech, intellectually curious, and thrive in high-performance environments.
Job Description
- Own key workstreams such as financial and lending performance analysis, customer segmentation, or market sizing
- Build financial models and forecasting tools to support new fintech initiatives and business cases
- Conduct external market research and competitor benchmarking across payments, lending, and digital finance
- Translate complex data into strategic insights and communicate them to senior stakeholders
- Collaborate across functions including product, risk, operations, marketing, and finance
- Prepare executive materials for high-level forums such as board meetings and business reviews
Requirements
- Bachelor degree or above in any disciplain
- Minimum 1 year of full-time working experience in a top-tier strategy consulting firm
- Proven track record in complex problem solving using quantitative and qualitative analytical techniques and genuine curiosity to get to the root causes of problems is a must
- Comfortable dealing with ambiguity and change
- Strong communication, stakeholder management, and project management skills – or willingness to improve them in a dynamic environment
