Act as both Business Analyst and Data Analyst for Corporate Credit Risk projects and provide Business As Usual (BAU) support for business and credit users as needed.
Develop generic approval workflows to assess potential Watchlist cases triggered by Machine Learning and/or rule-based rule
Understand end-to-end operations of internal credit systems and their integration with other systems and front-end workflows for wholesale banking and credit risk management.
Gather and define business requirements, prepare functional specifications, write User Stories, and initiate User Requests on behalf of business and risk management units.
Recommend solution designs, considering the pros and cons of available options.
Plan and execute test scenarios, perform pre-UAT checks, and coordinate UAT with end-users.
Conduct training on system processes and functionality for new and existing users.
Perform additional project-specific tasks such as data analysis, user interviews/surveys, system configuration maintenance, report preparation, and live verification.
Collaborate with Technology support and delivery teams to ensure successful delivery of user requirements.
Utilize knowledge of various data analytics methods and Machine Learning.
Technical Requirements:
Degree in Banking, Commerce, Information Systems, or a related field.
Minimum of 7 years of experience as a Business Analyst and Data Analyst with end-to-end project delivery experience.
Experience as a Product Owner or Scrum Master is preferred.
Strong people management skills.
Ability to understand and articulate business objectives, risks, and dependencies.
Proficiency in defining and defending project scope.
Experience in wholesale banking or credit risk projects.
Knowledge of corporate credit products, credit risk, loans, trade, and treasury markets.
Familiarity with credit products, risk monitoring/control processes, and banking credit processing systems.
Experience with Data Analytics/Machine Learning projects or applications preferred.
Experience with Agile methodology preferred.
Proficiency in SQL and Excel experience with JavaScript and Python is a plus but not required.
