Senior Business Analyst - Energy trading

This is an exciting opportunity to join a global energy trading company at the forefront of transformation. As part of its continued growth, the firm is building out a dedicated Middle Office Transformation team in Singapore. This role offers the chance to contribute to strategic, business-critical initiatives while gaining broad exposure across trading risk, product control, and supporting functions.

Responsibilities

You will play a key role in driving transformation initiatives within the Middle Office, including process and systems improvements, enhancement of control frameworks, and supporting large-scale change projects. Working closely with senior stakeholders across Finance, Risk, IT, and Commercial teams, you will shape workflows, oversee project delivery, and ensure alignment with business objectives. This role offers exposure to global stakeholders and the opportunity to help design and embed robust processes that strengthen governance and efficiency across the trading business.

Requirements

You should have at least 8-12 years of experience in commodities, energy trading, or consulting, with proven expertise in transformation, change management, or middle office functions. A strong understanding of the trade lifecycle, project delivery, and risk/control frameworks is required. Experience with trading systems implementation is highly advantageous. The ideal candidate is structured, detail-oriented, and comfortable engaging senior stakeholders in a fast-paced trading environment.
