Direct Responsibilities
- Organize workshops with respective stakeholders and assess business needs.
- Perform study with the Group & Local Finance teams and vendor/consulting team (if required) to align on the requirements, data mappings and functionalities/scope.
- Drive and plan the application impact analysis after Business workshop.
- Ensure the functional mappings/data comply with local and Group expectations.
- Documenting detailed business requirements and functional specifications.
- Translate the requirements into non-functional specifications for technology teams to develop.
- Conducting user acceptance testing (UAT) and ensuring a smooth transition to new systems.
- Identify any bottlenecks and recommend improvements.
- Collaborate with technology teams to ensure seamless integration and development of the application or data interface flows.
- Build and maintain the Backlog of requirements, transformations and adaptations.
- Work with various Stakeholders, to implement the deliverables and to resolve challenges and issues.
- Involvement in full development lifecycle, from Elaboration- Build- Transition- Production.
- Adhere to WMIS Governance and guiding principles.
- Business requirements consolidation and formal validation from sponsor/product owner.
- Prepare migration and testing strategy consolidation and formal validation
- Coordinate with all teams, from same division or other divisions, working on the same program
- Work with the development team, Business analyst, Solution architects, Application SMEs to design the functional solutions.
Functional & Behavioral Competencies
- Should have worked as a Business analyst at least for 10 years.
- Hands-on experience in the following areas in IT system implementations:
- Credit-risk (Limits, Collateral Management, Counterparty Risk)
- Regulatory Reporting (Knowledge on Basel IV, Site specific local regulatory requirements)
- Core banking (Knowledge on Loan/Deposit lifecycle)
- Demonstrable experience in a similar role in the Banking Wealth Management industry.
- Experience working throughout the entire IT project life cycle including analyzing and documenting requirements, workshops, testing and stakeholder management throughout.
- Good knowledge and working capability of product life cycle like loans, deposits, forex, derivatives, limits, Guarantees, securities etc.
- Should have knowledge on Credit life cycle and IFRS9 reporting system implementation lifecycle.
- Should have good knowledge and understanding of the information flow and various business functions in a financial services/bank.
- Ability to prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment
- Able to conduct the workshops with business teams and challenge the requirements
- Collaborate with teams and work with groups effectively spread across various regions
- Strong critical thinker with problem solving aptitude.
- Responsible and good organization of work in each project phase.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
