We are seeking an experienced Senior BMS Engineer to lead the design,development, validation, and optimization of advanced Battery ManagementSystems (BMS) for lithium-ion battery energy storage applications. The idealcandidate possesses strong expertise in battery technologies, embedded systems,power electronics, control algorithms, and system integration.
This role involves close collaboration with hardware, firmware, EMS, PCS,cloud platform, and manufacturing teams to develop safe, reliable, and scalablebattery solutions for ESS, microgrid, telecom, EV, and industrial applications.
Key Responsibilities:
-Design and develop Battery Management System architectures for lithium battery systems
-Develop and optimize:
- -SOC (State of Charge) algorithms
- -SOH (State of Health) estimation
- -SOP (State of Power) estimation
- -Cell balancing strategies
- -Thermal management logic
- -Fault detection and protection algorithms
-Define battery protection strategies:

-Develop embedded firmware and control logic for BMS controllers
-Analyze battery behavior, degradation, and lifecycle performance
-Perform battery modeling, simulation, and validation testing
-Integrate BMS with:

- -SCADA systems
- -Cloud monitoring platforms
-Support communication protocol implementation:
- -CAN
- -Modbus
- -RS485
- -Ethernet
- -IEC 61850 (preferred)
-Collaborate with hardware teams on:
- -PCB design review
- -Sensor selection
- -Isolation design
- -Safety circuitry
-Conduct root cause analysis for field failures and abnormal battery events
-Support certification and compliance activities
-Mentor junior engineers and provide technical leadership
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Embedded Systems, Energy Storage, or related field
- 5+ years of experience in BMS development or battery systems engineering
- Strong understanding of lithium-ion battery chemistry and characteristics
- Experience with:

- Strong embedded firmware development experience in:
