Senior Blockchain Engineering

The Mission

Arukah Capital is scaling the next gigaton of carbon removal by integrating industrial biochar and biogas production into global agrifood supply chains with tamper proof digital infrastructure and high frequency remote monitoring. We are seeking a Head of Blockchain Engineering and/or a Senior Blockchain Engineer. You will be responsible for architecting the blockchain infrastructure for CarbonCast-our proprietary dMRV (Digital Monitoring, Reporting, and Verification) architecture with institutional carbon markets.

Core Responsibilities

• Smart Contract Architecture: Develop and maintain the smart contract suite for CarbonCast.

• High-Integrity Tokenization: Architect the lifecycle of Investment Grade credits-from initial sequestration data ingestion to permanent retirement-ensuring compliance with leading registry methodologies, including Puro.earth and Gold Standard.

• Programmable Revenue Distribution: Implement the logic for Arukah's signature 50% gross carbon revenue allocation. You will build the rails that ensure transparent, auditable disbursement to participating smallholder farmers and agricultural partners.

• Registry-Native Integration: Build secure adapters and relayers that synchronize on-chain state with global carbon registries and Singapore's Article 6-aligned trading hubs.

Technical Requirements

• Smart Contracts: Expert proficiency in Solidity (EVM) with a focus on ERC-721 and ERC-1155 standards, or equivalent. Experience with upgradeable contract patterns (UUPS/Transparent) for long-term project durability.

• Data Pipelines: Experience handling off-chain data ingestion (from KMS-signed IoT payloads or AI inference results) and verifying it on-chain via Oracle logic or Merkle Proofs.

• Security & Audit: A security-first mindset. You have successfully led contracts through Tier-1 audits and understand the nuances of role-based access control (RBAC) in institutional finance.

• Backend & Infrastructure: Strong command of Node.js/TypeScript. Experience with PostgreSQL.

• Preferred: Familiarity with the CosmWasm/Provenance ecosystem or Polygon CDK, reflecting Arukah's multi-chain approach to RWA infrastructure.
