The Senior BIM Coordinator (Precast) is responsible for, but not limited to, the following:
- Responsible for developing and maintaining detailed 3D models and shop drawings for precast concrete elements using BIM software (Tekla Structure).
- Familiar with utilizing BIM software (Tekla Structures) to develop BIM Model and prepare shop drawings for precast components based on design inputs.
- Interpret architectural, structural and M&E drawings to generate models and precast shop drawings for manufacturing and fabrication.
- Incorporate essential details into drawings, including reinforcement layouts, M&E openings, recesses, architectural features, cast-in items, lifting systems, and other relevant details.
- Support clash detection and coordination processes using BIM tools.
- Review architectural, structural and M&E drawings to identify discrepancies and raise RFIs for clarification.
- Revise and update precast shop drawings based on consultant feedback and project requirements.
- Coordinate with project stakeholders and BIM teams to gather information, maintain model integrity, and establish standard details in Tekla Structures.
- Issue approved shop drawings to the production team in a timely manner.
- Develop standardized models and templates for precast components.
- Ensure timely completion and submission of shop drawings in accordance with the project schedule
Minimum Qualifications/ Job Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Architectural, Mechanical Engineering or Building Services Engineering with at least 5 years of working experience in design engineering, construction engineering.
- At least 3 years of relevant experience in precast industry in Singapore.
- Preferable conversant in any of the BIM software such as Tekla, Allplan, Autocad
- Possess good interpersonal skills and strong communication.
- Able to work independently, positive attitude and self-motivated
- Capable of managing deadlines effectively.
