Senior Beautician

Job Description:

A Senior Beautician is responsible for providing advanced beauty treatments, supervising junior staff, and ensuring excellent customer service in a salon or spa. They specialize in skincare, hair removal, makeup, facials, and other beauty services while maintaining high hygiene and professional standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Beauty Services & Treatments
Perform a range of beauty treatments, including facials, waxing, threading, manicures, pedicures, and massages.
Provide advanced skincare treatments and makeup applications.
Recommend suitable products and treatments based on client needs.

Customer Service & Consultation

• Conduct detailed beauty consultations with clients.
• Address customer concerns and provide personalized beauty solutions.
• Maintain strong client relationships and encourage repeat visits.

Supervision & Team Leadership

• Train and mentor junior beauticians.
• Monitor staff performance and provide feedback.
• Ensure all beauty treatments are performed to high professional standards.

Salon Operations & Hygiene

• Maintain cleanliness and organization in treatment areas.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Manage stock levels of beauty products and tools.

Sales & Promotions

• Promote salon services and upsell treatments/products.
• Assist in developing marketing and promotional campaigns.
• Meet sales targets for beauty services and retail products.

Job Requirements:

Education & Experience:
Diploma or certification in cosmetology, beauty therapy, or a related field.
3-5 years of experience in a beauty salon or spa.
Specialized training in advanced beauty treatments (e.g., skin treatments, laser, microdermabrasion) is a plus.
