As a Senior Business Development Executive, you'll play a pivotal role in driving the growth of a job platform by identifying opportunities, building strong client relationships, and ensuring we hit sales targets set.
What You'll Be Doing:
Business Development & Sales
- Generate and qualify leads through cold calling, outbound outreach, and networking activities.
- Build and nurture long-term relationships with employers, decision-makers, and industry contacts.
- Pitch the Platforms offerings effectively, tailoring solutions to client needs.
- Drive client conversions and hit/exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets.
- Maximise your earnings through attractive, performance-based incentives.
Collaboration & Strategy
- Work with the Tech team to provide client feedback that enhances platform features and user experience.
- Partner with the Comms team to design outreach campaigns and materials that boost client engagement.
- Share market insights and competitor analysis to refine BD strategies.
Client Management & Growth
- Support onboarding of new clients, ensuring a smooth transition and positive experience.
- Track and analyse performance metrics to improve sales effectiveness.
What We Are Looking For
- At last 2 to 5 years of business development, sales, or client management experience (recruitment or HR tech industry preferred)
- Strong track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets
- Comfortable with cold calling, lead generation, and consultative selling
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
- Strong networking ability and confidence in engaging decision-makers
- Familiarity with CRM tools, data tracking, and reporting
- Resilient, proactive, and able to thrive in a target-driven role
- Collaborative and comfortable working with cross-functional teams (Tech, Comms, Operations)
- Growth-oriented with a keen eye for identifying opportunities in the market
- Self-motivated with strong problem-solving skills and business acumen
