Role Overview
We are seeking a high-performing Senior Barista with a strong leadership foundation. This is not just a service role it is a fast-track position projected to transition into a Store Leader / Shift Leader role upon the successful completion of the probation period. We need a professional who is not only a master of coffee but also a disciplined operator focused on team management, SOP compliance, and sales growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Operational Excellence: Prepare and serve premium coffee and beverages strictly adhering to company recipes and quality standards.
- Leadership & Development: Supervise the team during shifts to ensure smooth operations and provide on-the-spot coaching to junior staff.
- SOP & Compliance: Strictly enforce food safety, hygiene, and operational SOPs ensure the team maintains a pristine workstation and dining area.
- Administrative Management: Handle inventory checks, stock replenishment, and detailed paperwork (daily reports, wastage logs, and cash out) with high accuracy.
- Sales Performance: Drive store results by monitoring peak-hour efficiency, suggesting upselling strategies, and meeting sales targets.
- Customer Experience: Resolve complex customer enquiries and feedback professionally to maintain high brand standards.
Requirements
- Leadership Experience: Minimum 1-2 years of experience leading a team in a fast-paced F&B or retail environment.
- Process-Oriented: Proven ability to follow and enforce strict SOPs and administrative procedures.
- Performance Mindset: Data-driven and sales-minded you understand how service speed and quality impact the bottom line.
- Technical Proficiency: Advanced skills in operating coffee machinery, grinders, and POS systems.
- Communication: Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to manage team dynamics and communicate effectively in English.
- Flexibility: Must be able to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
- Physical Stamina: Able to stand for long hours and perform light lifting as required.
