- Position: Senior Badminton Coach
- Salary: $3,200/month + $200 Transport Allowance
- Working Arrangement: 6-day work week
- Location: Multiple venues across Singapore
- Employment Type: Full-time (1-year renewable contract)
Responsibilities
- Conduct group and one-to-one badminton coaching sessions for kids, youth, and competitive players to improve skills and performance
- Develop and implement training programmes aligned with academy standards to enhance player development
- Manage class administration including attendance tracking and monitoring student progress to ensure effective learning outcomes
- Mentor junior coaches by providing guidance and feedback to maintain coaching quality and discipline
- Assist in preparing events, grading tests, and organising holiday programmes to support academy activities
- Maintain clear and positive communication with parents, students, and management to foster strong relationships
Required competencies and certifications
- Demonstrate a strong badminton foundation with experience as a national player, state-level player, or competitive background
- Possess a minimum of 2-3 years of coaching experience to effectively train and develop players
- Maintain physical fitness to perform coaching duties safely and effectively
- Exhibit responsibility, punctuality, and commitment to the long-term development of students
Preferred competencies and qualifications
- Hold coaching certification such as BWF, SBA, or relevant association credentials
- Communicate effectively with children and youth to engage and motivate players
