Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop scalable applications using Java, Spring Boot, and microservices architecture
- Create high-level and low-level technical designs based on business requirements
- Perform impact analysis for new features and system changes
- Lead requirements gathering and translate them into technical solutions
- Provide technical leadership and guidance to team members
- Conduct code reviews and resolve production issues
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define and refine system solutions
- Contribute to system integration and performance optimization
- Support deployment, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement of applications
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field
- 5+ years of experience in backend application development
- Strong proficiency in:
Java, Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Hibernate, JPA Microservices and event-driven architecture
- Experience with database technologies: Oracle, MSSQL, or MongoDB
- Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS or Azure)
- Strong knowledge of system design (HLD/LLD) and architecture principles
- Experience in technical leadership / mentoring
- Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, Kafka
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills
- Frontend exposure (Angular, JavaScript, HTML, CSS)
- Experience in CI/CD tools and DevOps practices
- Knowledge of version control (Git, SVN)
- Experience in large-scale enterprise or government systems
- Familiarity with Linux environments
- Experience in insurance, tax, or public sector systems
- Exposure to domain-driven design (DDD)
- Experience working in Agile environments
