Senior Backend Engineer (Golang)

Role Overview

We are looking for a Senior Backend Engineer to contribute to the development, enhancement, and operational stability of a modern digital platform.

This role is ideal for experienced engineers who enjoy building scalable backend services, solving complex technical challenges, and working within distributed systems.

You will collaborate closely with technical, product, and infrastructure teams to deliver reliable, high-performing solutions in a cloud-native environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain backend services and APIs.

• Build scalable and reliable microservices using Golang.

• Contribute to system performance, reliability, and scalability improvements.

• Troubleshoot and resolve application and production issues.

• Participate in code reviews and technical discussions.

• Optimize database performance, including query tuning and indexing.

• Develop and maintain event-driven and asynchronous processing workflows.

• Collaborate with DevOps and infrastructure teams on deployment, monitoring, and operational excellence.

• Ensure code quality, maintainability, and operational readiness.

• Deliver assigned features and technical solutions independently.

Requirements

Technical Skills

• Strong experience developing production-grade applications using Golang.

• Experience designing and building RESTful APIs and microservices.

• Solid understanding of concurrency and asynchronous processing concepts.

• Strong SQL knowledge with experience in PostgreSQL or other relational databases.

• Experience with event-streaming or messaging platforms such as Kafka.

• Hands-on experience troubleshooting and resolving application issues.

• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or equivalent.

• Experience with containerization and orchestration technologies, including Docker and Kubernetes.

• Experience working with distributed systems or large-scale applications.

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of Java.

• Exposure to observability and monitoring tools such as Datadog, Sentry, or similar platforms.

• Familiarity with Infrastructure-as-Code tools such as Terraform.

• Experience in mobility, IoT, connected devices, or digital platform environments.

• Familiarity with industry-standard integration protocols and APIs.

• Experience working with real-time data processing or device-connected applications.
