About the Position
We are seeking a Senior Marketing & Internal Communications Manager based in Singapore/SEA to lead the APAC marketing and internal communications agenda for the Nutrition Plant Engineering (NPE) division. This role combines strategic leadership with hands-on execution, ensuring alignment with the global NPE Central Marketing team while tailoring initiatives to APAC regional needs.
The position is responsible for integrated planning, budget governance, stakeholder alignment, and high-quality delivery of marketing and internal communications across APAC. It includes direct management of the Country Marketing Coordinator (SEA-based), forming a two-person APAC NPE marketing team. The role reports with a solid line to the SVP APAC NPE and a dotted line to the VP Marketing & Internal Communication NPE (global).
The ideal candidate brings at least 7 years of experience in B2B marketing and communications, a track record of operating effectively across multi-country matrix organisations, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Marketing Planning
- Drive the APAC NPE marketing roadmap, translating global campaigns into regional execution plans.
- Act as the primary regional interface with NPE Central Marketing, ensuring alignment on priorities, messaging, content, and campaign architecture.
- Lead annual and quarterly APAC marketing planning, including resource allocation and budget governance, in alignment with the Central Marketing team.
- Identify growth opportunities and steer regional adaptation of global campaigns, ensuring market relevance across APAC.
- Guide country marketing teams and distributors to strengthen NPE brand presence in the region.
Marketing Execution & Localisation
In addition to strategic tasks, this role is expected to deliver hands-on execution as required, including:
- Campaign management: localisation, deployment, performance tracking, and post-campaign reviews.
- Events and trade fairs: development and coordination of regional trade fairs, road shows, customer events, webinars, and internal launches.
- Content creation: develop and adapt regional content (copy, presentations, marketing collateral) based on global and regional guidelines.
Internal Communications Leadership
- Oversee strategic internal communications for APAC NPE, supporting change initiatives, leadership messaging, engagement, and cultural alignment.
- Partner with HR and regional leadership to craft impactful messages, cascades, and internal campaigns.
Team Leadership & Stakeholder Management
- Directly manage the Country Marketing Coordinator (SEA-based), providing direction, coaching, and quality oversight.
- Work closely with NPE Central Marketing, Global Communications & Branding, and local sales and service teams across APAC.
- Coordinate with external marketing agencies and service providers for regional execution.
- Ensure close cooperation with the central marketing function to avoid siloed marketing activities in the region.
Candidate Requirements
- 7+ years of marketing and internal communications experience in B2B or industrial environments.
- Proven ability to translate strategy into operational plans and deliver through both direct and indirect reporting lines.
- Strong stakeholder management across multi-country, matrix-led organisations.
- Able to plan at the portfolio level and execute at the campaign level.
- Experience managing or coordinating regional/country marketing teams.
- Fluent in English.
