Your Mission
You will be the cornerstone of our Azure strategy, responsible for:
- Architecting our Identity Foundation: Building a zero-trust security model from the ground up with Azure AD (Entra ID), Conditional Access, and privileged identity management.
- Leading Cloud Transformation: Designing and executing the migration of critical workloads to Azure, balancing performance, security, and cost.
- Elevating Team Capability: Acting as the go-to expert and mentor for our engineering teams on all things Azure and identity.
- Ensuring Business Resilience: Implementing robust monitoring, automation, and governance to ensure our cloud environment is compliant, reliable, and efficient.
What You'll Do (Your Day-to-Day Impact)
- Design & Implement: Architect and deploy secure, scalable Azure solutions with a heavy focus on Azure AD, SSO/MFA, RBAC, and Conditional Access Policies.
- Secure & Govern: Implement security controls with Microsoft Defender, Sentinel, and Security Center to meet strict financial sector compliance (ISO, SOC, etc.).
- Optimize & Automate: Use Azure DevOps, Terraform, or Bicep to automate deployments and optimize cloud spend through continuous monitoring.
- Troubleshoot & Lead: Resolve high-severity incidents and provide technical leadership during major implementations.
- Collaborate & Advise: Partner with security, development, and operations teams as a trusted advisor on cloud architecture and best practices.
Who You Are (Our Ideal Candidate)
You must have hands-on experience with these technologies. If you don't, this isn't the right role:
Non-Negotiable Requirements (We will screen for these)
- 8+ years of enterprise IT experience with at least 5 years specializing in Azure IaaS/PaaS.
- Expert-level, hands-on mastery of Azure Active Directory (Entra ID): You've designed and managed enterprise implementations of Azure AD Connect, SSO, MFA, Conditional Access, and application registrations.
- 5+ years of practical experience with DevOps & IaC: You automate everything with Azure DevOps/GitLab/GitHub Actions and Terraform/Bicep/ARM.
- Proven leadership: You've mentored engineers, led projects, and communicated complex technical concepts to senior leadership.
What Will Make You Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)
- Microsoft Certified: Identity and Access Administrator Associate (SC-300) or higher.
- 3+ years integrating hybrid environments (Azure + AWS) with on-premises systems.
- Background in Banking, Financial Services, or other highly regulated industries.
- Experience with ITIL frameworks and major incident management.
