Senior Automation Engineer(Experience in CSV,Batch S88 standards and DeltaV )

Job Description &Requirements

Roles &Responsibilities:

- Responsible for the design, development, and commissioning support of Pharmaceuticals DCS / PLC systems on site. Key technology will be Siemens. Any exposure to Rockwell and Emerson DeltaV will be of advantage.

- Will participate in the development and implementation of Automation solutions in line with S88 standards for the plant.

- Thorough understanding of Physical and Procedural Layer design, development, and qualification.

- Work with automation team to design system architecture, Design Specification, Control Strategies, and library development.

- Strong understanding of CSV documentation for Pharma projects

- Supporting manufacturing operations for day today support for DeltaV system.

- Support on NC and CAPA and identification of root causes

- Continuous improvement of the system and support for Operations as required.

- Field commissioning of automation equipment's.

- System administration and maintenance support.

- Computer system Validation and documentation support for automation systems.

- Interacting with Operations Team, Process Team, Equipment Vendors and Technology providers.

Requirements:

. Minimum of 8-10 years experience in a similar role, ideally in the pharmaceutical industry.

. Experience in the Designing and commissioning of automation projects for GMP manufacturing site.

. Through understanding of Batch S88 standards (CM,EM, Phases, Recipes, Units etc.)

. Understanding of Pharmaceutical or Biopharmaceutical process

. Understanding of automation hardware and networking technologies

. Siemens PCS7 or S7 with Batch exposure is required.

. Emerson DeltaV DCS Batch experience or Rockwell Pharma experience is advantage

. Familiarity with SDLC and quality management processes in the pharma

. Ability to work well in a team environment.

. Able to manage multiple party coordination for automation information.

. Good communication and able to work remotely or onsite as required by client.
