Role Description The Senior Auditor role at Pinnally PAC is a full-time, on-site position based in Paya Lebar. The Senior Auditor will plan, execute, and complete audit engagements in accordance with professional standards and firm policies. Daily responsibilities include reviewing financial statements, testing internal controls, performing substantive audit procedures, and documenting audit findings clearly and accurately. The role involves supervising junior team members, providing guidance and feedback, and ensuring timely completion of fieldwork. The Senior Auditor will also interact regularly with client stakeholders, communicate audit results, propose practical recommendations, and support the preparation of reports for management and regulatory purposes.
Qualifications

  • Strong technical knowledge of auditing standards, accounting principles, and financial reporting frameworks.
  • Proficiency in audit planning, risk assessment, internal control evaluation, and substantive testing.
  • Ability to lead audit teams, coach less experienced staff, and review working papers with attention to detail.
  • Effective communication skills for engaging with clients, presenting findings, and drafting clear audit reports.
  • Solid analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify issues and recommend practical solutions.
  • High level of integrity, professional judgment, and commitment to quality and regulatory compliance.
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; professional certification (e.g., CPA, ACCA, CA) preferred.
  • Relevant experience in external audit or assurance, ideally in a public accounting or professional services environment.
  • Comfort working on-site in Paya Lebar, managing multiple engagements, and meeting deadlines in a fast-paced setting.
  • Proficiency with common accounting and audit software; familiarity with data analysis tools is an advantage.
