Responsibilities
Lead team members to drive audience engagement & brand affinity for audio brands through the strategic planning, execution & evaluation of audience-initiated contests, on-ground events & on-line activations.
Scope of the role
Oversee the strategic implementation plans of the unit to develop compelling, effective & efficient propositions. Work in tandem with audio colleagues and other departments/ stakeholders to ensure objectives are fulfilled.
Key Responsibilities
- Contests Management
- Oversee the development and management of contest mechanics & ensure alignment with station branding & objectives
- Work with PDs to ensure integration of contests into programming output
- Ensure that tracking and reporting on participation metrics and listener feedback is done in a timely manner
- Utilize the data collated to regularly refine contest mechanics & requirements
- Oversee the processes involved with sourcing of prize sponsorships
- Events Management
- Lead the budgeting exercise together with Leads and audio teams
- Drive the conceptualization & execution of station events (e.g. concerts, fan meet-and-greets, roadshows, brand partnerships)
- Implements effective processes with vendors, venues, internal stakeholders to manage logistics, budgets, and timelines
- Manage workflow process to ensure seamless on-site execution and uphold the audio brand values
- Partnership & Sponsorship Support
- Lead the conversations with commercial engagement/sales/partnership teams to develop sponsor-friendly contest and event proposals
- Audience Engagement & Growth
- Oversee the implementation of contests & events databases to grow listenership and deepen audience loyalty
- Collaborate with social media planning and marketing teams to amplify reach and drive cross-platform traffic
- Track & monitor trends in listener behaviour and engagement to inform future initiatives
- Keep abreast of competitor landscape, maintain view on industry best practices and organize timely update sessions to keep audio team informed
- Operational & Administrative Duties
- Manage the overall alignment & standardisation of all work processes whilst ensuring efficient communication flow with internal corporate stakeholders
- Ensure compliance with legal, regulatory, internal guidelines including risk management and event safety protocols
- People Management
- Conduct performance reviews & provide regular feedback to enhance teams optimum performance
- Manage manpower to adequately resource with sufficient members & support
- Guide & coach members through regular engagement and feedback sessions
- Ensure that training needs are met for the team
- Work with HR to secure adequate intern placements & hired help support
Foundational Competencies
- Ability to lead a team and oversee operational excellence of the unit

Qualifications
- At least a Diploma, Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma in Marketing/Business Development, project management, events management or equivalent.
- 8 to 10 years of managerial experience in events, contest management or operations with audio experience.
- Demonstrate initiative, and willingness to work in a fast-paced environment
- Critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
- Analytical abilities and quantitative/qualitative skills
- Understanding of audience & social media landscape
- Technical proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint
