This role will support the development and execution of integrated events and engagement with both technical and non-technical communities in Singapore and abroad. This includes, but is not limited to, flagship events such as the SupercomputingAsia (SCA) conference and the annual HPC Users Symposium and other key events and outreach programmes that strengthen NSCC's visibility and partnerships. The initiatives aim to build a strong community of high performance computing (HPC) advocates through the sharing of ideas, raising awareness of the national impact and benefits of HPC, and fostering deeper engagement within the Singapore HPC ecosystem. Ultimately, the objective is to grow mindshare and interest in Singapores HPC capabilities, increase the adoption of NSCCs resources and services, and enhance the visibility of HPCs strategic role in national development. Examples of key responsibilities include:

  • Plan, manage and execute a portfolio of events and community engagement initiatives for local and international audiences
  • Oversee end-to-end event logistics, budget management and vendor coordination, ensuring seamless delivery and alignment with strategic objectives
  • Work closely with external vendors and agencies to deliver high-quality event experiences
  • Develop opportunities to foster and strengthen user engagement and collaboration
  • Build and nurture a community of HPC advocates through sustained engagement and storytelling
  • Track and analyse data to gain actionable insights and measure the impact of HPC engagement

Requirements

  • Degree in Communications, Marketing, Science & Technology, or related field
  • At least 5 years experience in events management, community engagement, corporate communications or public outreach roles
  • Demonstrated experience in managing large scale events, budgets and external vendors
  • Familiarity with technology-related domains and research sectors is a plus
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills ability to work with diverse stakeholders
  • Competency in data analysis and reporting tools is an advantage
  • Proactive, resourceful, and able to work independently as well as collaboratively in cross-functional teams
