About The Role

As the Logistics Assistant in ALPS, you will be based in one of the 27 Public Healthcare Institutions (PHI) in Singapore, you will be responsible for the logistics support and inventory control within the PHI. Working in a team you will receive and distribute inventory items and ensure inventory accountability and accuracy in the system. You will also communicate closely with hospital users to support in the hospital's daily operations for patients care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide administrative and clerical support to the department
  • Attend to enquires and provide information regards to uniform services.
  • Responsible for the uninterrupted flow of materials by ensuring the timely delivery of uniform with the right type, quality and quantity
  • Issues / exchange of staff uniforms
  • Assist in exchange of staff uniform
  • Assist the Buyer / Executive in uniform measurement exercise, collating of data.
  • Maintain filling system for efficient work performance
  • Coordinate with various internal customers and vendors with regard to uniform room activities.
  • Maintain department filing system for efficient work performance.
  • Perform daily housekeeping of uniform room, workstation and care of office equipment.
  • Participate in corporate and community outreach events organized by the hospital.
  • Actively seek to improve the work processes in the department.
  • Undertake any other duties/ projects when assigned by the Supervisor.

Requirements:

  • Nitec, Higher Nitec, GCE N level or equivalent
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Basic excel and inventory software and systems experience (eg SAP/WMS)
