What the day will look like
- Problem-solving skills including active listening to identify client needs, ability to identify problem root causes and be able to contribute to potential solutions.
- Comfortable with numbers including data structuring and analysis (principally proprietary Aon data as well as some external data sources)using tools such as Excel (incl. PowerPivot) etc.
- Providing input into the development of new analytics tools and solutions.
- Actively contributing to efforts to improve data quality and acquire new datasets.
- Proactively building and maintaining relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Communicating and presenting findings and insights clearly to the client's engagement stakeholders.
- Preparing for and participating in interviews with industry experts and clients.
- Taking ownership and responsibility for client engagement workstreams.
- Designing and producing client-ready deliverables via platforms such as MSPowerPoint, Excel and Word, Power BI and Alteryx.
- Coordinating client engagement internally and externally (arranging and supporting in facilitating meetings, the Senior Associate will be the main contact point to coordinate internally and externally across all aspects of the logistics of client engagement).
- Consistently maintain and update an engagement tracker for each client, documenting all activities and engagement between clients and internal stakeholders.
- Proactively manage client engagement timelines, follow-ups, and action items with internal and external stakeholders.
- Proactively prepare materials, deliverables, and presentation decks for client meetings.
- Produce meeting minutes and proactively follow up on action items.
How this opportunity is different
This role is broad and involves a large diversity of activities, focused on supporting senior Aon Inpoint stakeholders in the delivery of value to clients. Responsibilities include relationship management and connectivity with key trading partners. The role requires use and analysis of Aon and market data, requiring you to think creatively to develop new and innovative strategies for clients. You will support the Aon Client Leaders in generating and presenting valuable and actionable insights that are relevant to clients and the wider Aon business.

- Minimum of 3/4 years of experience working in consulting, (re)insurance or financial services.
- Interested in the insurance industry, its challenges, and evolutions.
- Able to build and manage relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Good communication and engagement skills.
- Good autonomy and organization skills.
- Able to act with conviction and be a people-influencer with both managers and operational teams.
- At ease with analyzing large / complex data sets and distilling useful insights from them.
- Proficient in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint. Power BI, and Alteryx proficiency will be viewed favourably.
- Graduate degree in business, finance or equivalent.
