Brief Summary
Join our dynamic Procurement team as a Full-Time Procurement Professional on a 6-month contract. You will play a key role in facilitating logistics arrangements and providing essential administrative support.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate logistics arrangements, including vendor site visits and tender interviews. Manage attendance lists and maintain accurate records of vendor interactions. Screen potential vendors to assess eligibility. Schedule meetings and tender interviews effectively. Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand requirements for procurement activities. Handle Direct Purchases and ensure accurate Purchase Order issuance. Maintain thorough documentation, ensuring completeness and correctness. Send forms and keep signed copies for internal records highlight discrepancies as needed. Tabulate vendor offers and address any discrepancies with vendors. Support the signing of Letters of Extension, Letters of Award, and other related documents between stakeholders and vendors. Gather procurement requirements, including specifications and evaluation criteria, from stakeholders. Ensure adherence to procurement policies and procedures throughout the procurement process. Monitor the timeline and approvals sought at each stage of the procurement process for each Request for Proposal (RFP) and Request for Quotation (RFQ).
Requirements
- NITEC in Logistics Management, Business Administration, or a related field. A minimum of 2 years of experience in a procurement-related role, ideally within a large organization. Strong understanding of procurement processes. Proficient in MS Excel experience with Tenderboard systems or equivalents is advantageous. Detail-oriented and highly organized, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, paperless environment. Demonstrated ability to communicate clearly with both internal stakeholders and external suppliers. Adaptable and capable of handling assigned tasks independently while meeting deadlines.
