- Buyside role, Focusing on secondaries APAC coverage
Responsibilities would include:
- Focus primarily on secondaries and contribute to all aspects of the secondary deal process
- Deal sourcing, screening and conducting due diligence on private equity secondary and direct investments, leveraging the firm's global network
- Lead evaluation and analysis of secondary transactions assets across stages (i.e., buyout, venture, growth equity, etc.), industries and geographies
- Engage with fund managers, PE sponsors, intermediaries, company management teams and investment bankers, as well as internal stakeholders, to perform due diligence, find new opportunities and execute transactions
- Prepare and present due diligence materials and IC memos
- Negotiate/coordinate deal closing/structuring process and post-close monitoring of existing investments
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in any discipline
- At least 6 years of private equity (secondaries, buyout, special sits) or other relevant experience
- Proven track record in sourcing, executing and completing successful private equity deals
- Strong sense of risk/reward trade-offs, and an ability to display sound investment judgement
- Good initiative, proactive and able to think outside the box
- Strong interpersonal skills, with ability to communicate and present ideas effectively, both verbally and in writing
- Capable of multi-tasking, with strong attention to detail
