Order Processing - 1 year contract, renewable
The Senior Associate - Order Processing is responsible for managing end-to-end order processing, stock transfers, and inventory transactions to ensure timely order fulfilment, inventory accuracy, and smooth supply chain operations.
The role works closely with cross-functional teams to maintain accurate records, support operational reporting and audits, resolve order and inventory-related issues, and drive continuous process improvements while ensuring compliance with company policies and internal controls.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process and manage customer sales orders accurately and within required timelines, coordinating closely with Sales, Customer Service, Warehouse, Logistics, and other relevant teams to ensure timely order fulfilment.
- Perform shipment confirmation upon receipt of complete shipping documentation and ensure all outstanding orders are properly processed and closed by month-end.
- Process and monitor stock transfers between warehouses or locations, ensuring inventory movements are accurately recorded and updated.
- Maintain inventory accuracy through regular stock reconciliation, transaction verification, and timely updates in the ERP system.
- Maintain complete and accurate order and inventory documentation and provide support for stock counts, internal reviews, and inventory audits.
- Prepare operational and inventory reports and collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve order fulfilment, stock, and operational issues.
- Support continuous process improvement initiatives and ensure all order processing and inventory activities comply with company policies, procedures, and internal controls.
Knowledge, Skills & Experience:
- Diploma or Degree in Supply Chain, Business, Logistics, Operations Management, or a related discipline.
- At least 2 years of relevant experience in customer service, sales support, order processing, distribution, or operations management.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage priorities accurately and efficiently.
- Able to multitask, prioritise workload effectively under pressure, and adapt to a fast-paced environment.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, including Pivot Tables, as well as Word and PowerPoint.
- Good analytical, problem-solving, and organisational skills.
- Customer-focused and proactive, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
- Strong team player with a positive attitude and willingness to provide coverage during leave periods or duty rotations.
- Willing and able to learn new processes, systems, and skills as required.
