Dedicated role reporting to Senior Group Manager, Logistics Asia & serves as the regional logistics resource for APAC region. The position plays the primary role as operations owner for Lilly's APAC Regional Distribution Centre (RDC) in Singapore.

Responsibilities:**

  • Handles the daily Operations of the APAC RDC
  • Manage the RDC inbound and outbound volumes, system transactions, interfaces, shipping documents and processes
  • Responsible for inventory reconciliation and stock takes
  • Manage and optimize transportation, warehousing, and distribution networks across APAC countries.
  • Manage relationships with third-party logistics (3PL) providers, ensuring service level agreements are met.
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to track logistics efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and service quality.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance supply chain resilience, reduce costs, and improve delivery times.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant international and local regulations, including customs, trade, and transportation laws.
  • Proactively follow up on logistics risk / disruptions in the region (eg, flooding, earthquakes, strikes etc)
  • Investigate temperature excursions; seek preventive actions and improvements
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with manufacturing, sales, marketing, and regulatory teams to support business objectives.
  • Participate in Monthly Affiliate Review meetings with Supply Chain
  • Apply AI-powered analytics to analyze logistics data, identify emerging trends, and automatically trigger alerts for potential issues. Use these insights to optimize volume planning, warehouse space utilization, shipping schedules, and inventory management
  • Support the business unit/supply chain on redressing/customization requests for the RDC

Qualifications:**

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5-7 years of progressive experience in logistics and supply chain management. Pharmaceutical/Biotech experience is preferred
  • Proven experience managing logistics operations across the Asian region is essential.
  • Strong understanding of international trade regulations, customs procedures, and transportation modalities.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in English; additional Asian language skills (e.g., Mandarin, Japanese, Korean) are advantage.
  • SAP S/4 HANA experience
  • Willingness to work with different time zones.
  • Ability to travel internationally as required.
