Job Description

We are working with an International Law Firm in seeking a Senior Associate to join its Litigation & International Arbitration team. This role offers the opportunity to lead complex commercial disputes and international arbitration proceedings, while mentoring junior lawyers and contributing to strategic case management. You will work closely with partners on high-value mandates and play a key role in client engagement and business development.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage litigation and international arbitration matters from strategy through to resolution.
  • Draft and review pleadings, submissions, witness statements, and advisory notes with minimal supervision.
  • Provide strategic advice to clients on dispute resolution, enforcement, and settlement options.
  • Supervise and mentor junior associates and trainees, ensuring quality and efficiency in case delivery.
  • Collaborate with partners on client relationship management and business development initiatives.
  • Liaise with clients, counterparties, regulators, and arbitral institutions to ensure effective case progress.

Requirements

  • Singapore-qualified lawyer with at least 7 years of PQE.
  • Strong track record in litigation and/or international arbitration, ideally with cross-border exposure.
  • Excellent drafting, analytical, and advocacy skills, with the ability to manage complex matters independently.
  • Familiarity with arbitral rules (e.g., SIAC, ICC, UNCITRAL) and enforcement regimes will be advantageous.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead cases, mentor juniors, and contribute to business development.
  • Strong client-facing skills, commercial awareness, and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.
