You will be an integral member of our world-class Freight team, responsible for ensuring smooth fulfillment of orders and shipments for customers across more than 60 countries worldwide. The incumbent will be equipped through multi-disciplinary training, in order to maintain and enhance our fundamental operational processes.
Our Freight team is essential for enhancing our customers experience and supporting key partnerships programs with world-renowned brands such as Game of Thrones, Batman, Cloud9, Team Secret, as well as international esports organizers such as Riot Games for their League of Legends global tournaments.
Responsibilities
- Manage port-to-door/ door-to-door freight operations for the assigned region, including the relevant shipping documentation and administration (invoice validation, document archiving, TMS management, etc.)
- Monitor and ensure the timely delivery of goods which includes regular orders and pre-orders, liaising directly with service providers to resolve operational challenges faced in-transit
- Collaborate with Freight team members to innovate around constraints & solutions
- Maintain strong communications with the wider organization, ensuring that relevant stakeholders are updated on Freight-related matters (Fulfillment, Supply & Demand)
- Drive efficiency through the optimization and streamlining of processes and systems
- Actively raise & resolve issues with Vendors e.g. failure to adhere to SOPs, container space not allocated etc
- Remain updated on the assigned region's shipping and customs regulations
- Analyze and contribute to monthly operational reports while reporting directly to the Team leaders with action improvement plans
- Verifying accuracy of data that is presented in dashboards, reports used by the team for daily operation monitoring and to identify discrepancies to the relevant stakeholders for correction to ensure data integrity
- Be the technical subject matter expert on logistics processes and role model as a senior member of the team
Requirements
- Experience in handling inbound and outbound shipments (FCL/LCL). Shipping documents such as BL, PL, CI.
- Good understanding of the Shipping Incoterms (i.e FOB, DDP, DAP)
- Diploma or Bachelor of Business Operations/ Supply Chain/ Logistics, or any other relevant course of studies
- Strong proficiency in both written and spoken English and Chinese (to converse with Mandarin speaking counterparts)
- Proven ability to engage effectively with internal teams, 3PLs, freight forwarders, and overseas counterparts on both technical and non-technical matters.
