Senior Associate Engineer

Job Description

Responsibilities:

• Perform daily operation and maintenance works on the 4G/5G/Microwave radio systems, AC/DC power system, Fixed Transmission and Antenna Distribution System and other associated equipment.
• Conduct site acceptance and provide reports for newly implemented sites.
• Perform system commissioning, integration and acceptance works and provide technical support for network expansion program, including Cellular-on-Wheel deployment.
• Perform Fixed transmission provisioning, testing, and troubleshooting.
• Coordinate with building owners on site access related matters.
• Interface with vendors and contractors on all operational and project support activities.
• Conduct system fault analysis and take proactive measures to minimize system outage and recurrence.
• Assist team leaders in managing day-to-day operational activities and handling of urgent escalated matters.
• Other work as assigned by the supervisor.

Qualifications

• Diploma in in Electrical/ Electronics/ Telecommunications Engineering or equivalent.
• Possess valid class 3 driving licence.
• Experiences in communications and wireless technologies will be advantageous.
• Knowledge of basic fibre optics and IP systems.
• Willing to perform 24x7 standby duties on weekends and Public Holidays.
