Singtel x Singapore Institute of Technology have embarked on a Work-Study Programme (WSP) launched in Feb 2023. The WSP is called The Catalyst Programme which is a structured on-the-job (OJT) development WSP that allows Polytechnic Diploma holders to secure a full-time position with Singtel while pursuing a university honours degree in Infrastructure & Systems Engineering. This programme is open to Singtels internal employees as well as external polytechnic diploma holders preferably from the ICT domain. Non-ICT diploma holders are encouraged to apply as well. In line with building capability in Singapore ICT sector this program will develop & groom talent over a 3-year period completing micro-credentials for each module which eventually stack-up to an honours degree in Infrastructure & Systems Engineering. Make an Impact by
- System operations to provide smooth service availability for BizVoice, SIP trunk
- Supports C5 migration for SIP Trunk service from Cisco (Broadsoft) to Huawei C5 system
- Supports internal and external audit preparations and exercise for the system
- Supports system and security patches, updates to the system
- Conduct regular health checks to ensure optimal system performance.
- Handling Customer Complaints and Basic Troubleshooting (Level 2)
- Manage and execute the provisioning of work orders for enterprise customers.
- Be on a 24/7 stand by to handle any critical issues that arise, ensuring minimal service disruption.
Skills for Success
- A completed diploma from a reputable Polytechnic
- 3 years or less work experience
- Experience with telco or networking duties
- Knowledgable on SIP Trunk, Linux & IP Networking services
- Able to communicate (written and spoken) with clarity and effectively to stakeholders.
