What the day will look like
As a Sr Associate Consultant in the Talent Solutions team, you will lead client engagements across the Financial Services sector, delivering high-impact advisory and data-driven solutions. You will take full ownership of project delivery, manage cross-functional teams, and serve as a trusted advisor to clients. This role demands strategic thinking, strong project management capabilities, and the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.
Key Responsibilities
- Client Advisory & Relationship Management
- Serve as the primary point of contact for key clients, building long-term relationships and ensuring high satisfaction and retention.
- Lead strategic conversations with clients to identify opportunities for advisory services beyond data products, including total rewards, incentive design, and organizational benchmarking.
- Facilitate client workshops and webinars to share market trends and best practices.
- Project Leadership & Delivery
- Independently manage end-to-end delivery of advisory and data projects, including scoping, planning, execution, and reporting.
- Coordinate internal resources and stakeholders to ensure timely and high-quality deliverables.
- Develop project plans and manage modules with minimal oversight, ensuring alignment with client expectations and internal standards.
- Draft and present proposals, reports, and presentations that reflect deep industry knowledge and client-specific recommendations.
- Market trends:
- Stay current on financial services industry trends and talent market dynamics to inform consulting approaches
- Data Analysis & Solution Design
- Lead the design and delivery of bespoke solutions, including incentive compensation analysis, salary structure design, and regulatory reviews.
- Review compensation data and convert them to clear, actionable insights for clients and internal stakeholders.
- Team Collaboration & Mentorship
- Guide junior colleagues in project execution and methodology.
- Share expertise across the Talent Solutions team to foster continuous learning and innovation.
Skills and experience that will lead to success
- 7-8 years of experience in human resources consulting, compensation survey management, or client advisory roles, preferably within Financial Services.
- Proven ability to lead projects independently, manage stakeholders, and deliver high-quality outcomes under tight timelines.
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Excel (macros preferred), PowerPoint, and Word
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence senior stakeholders.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and self-motivated with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Experience in drafting RFPs and contributing to cross-practice proposals is an advantage.
