About the Team
GLG is seeking a Senior Associate to support PSF clients in Singapore. GLG SEA Associate will be responsible for managing and executing primary deliverables to add value to GLG clients based in Southeast Asia.
Senior Associates help to drive GLG's business model and develop their segments client base through close coordination with senior members of the team and working with clients to fulfil their primary project needs including client requests, assisting senior team members with high-level product execution, and facilitating in-person interactions between GLG's clients and Network Members.
Position Responsibilities:
- Support the client facing team. The Senior Associate will be executing time-sensitive and competitive projects for GLG's clients (across industries)
- Learn to leverage GLG's platform and network to match thought leaders with clients, based upon the client's project objectives
- Team-wide collaboration. The Associate is expected to work closely with our Sales and Business Development team and other research professionals to grow revenue and ensure retention of existing accounts. He/she is also required to work closely with Supporting Team to provide additional candidate search direction and guidance.
- Facilitating interviews between candidates and our clients. The Associate is tasked with fulfilling time sensitive requests by analysing client requests and building and qualifying primary populations of candidates.
- Close interaction with GLG's candidates to understand their capabilities and knowledge on specific areas.
- Working towards growing GLG client relationships. The Associate will be working towards gaining responsibility of developing relationships with GLG clients, who are primarily leading professionals from professional service firms of different sizes across SEA.
Position Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree or higher from a top tier university
- Excellent communication skills in English
- 2 to 5 years of relevant industry experience in recruitment, internet/market research, outreach, partnership, business development
- Superior communication and interaction skills, including demonstrated oral, written and presentation abilities
- Successful track record managing multiple, simultaneous complex tasks and working in team environments
- Demonstrate excellent talent mapping skill with curious mindset, be commercially aggressive and have ability to build rapport with internal and external stakeholders.
- Be self-motivated with can-do attitude, see challenges as opportunities and have perseverance mentality
- Demonstrated performance and business judgment, in some or all of the following areas:
- Sales, negotiation, or networking with high-end professionals and/or
- Business development, corporate development, product development,
- Product and project management
- Ability to identify best match/solution of client's requests and to handle increasing responsibility over time
- Successful track record working in a team environment
- Ability to multi-task and prioritise activities effectively, while ensuring a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
