Business Function

DBS Institutional Banking Group provides corporate customers with a full range of commercial banking products and services, including cash management services, current accounts, time deposits, trade finance, working capital finance, term loans and foreign exchange. Job Summary

The hire will be responsible in supporting IBG TMT & WMNC on Strategy & Planning, Budget / Forecast, Scorecard & KPI, Business Updates, performance tracking and other compliance / process improvement.

Responsibilities

  • Work with TMT Teams across SG, HK, CN, TW and DBS LA and DBS London teams in supporting management to formulate key strategic priorities
  • Tracking of key Account Plan submissions and its execution post review
  • Implementation of key strategic priorities, including initiatives to drive cross border, cross product and industry collaboration leading to growth in cross sell and higher ROE
  • Prepare and coordinate business pipeline discussion with internal stakeholders (including product partners); follow up closely with stakeholders to ensure resolution of follow up items
  • Manage annual budget and scorecard process for TMT, DBS London and DBS LA and monitor performance
  • Work with stakeholders to drive thematic IBG agenda across Sustainabilty, One Bank Strategy, Alpha Growth Strategy, Gen AI, Digital etc
  • Review and improve business process and policies; design workflows to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
  • Organise and document portfolio reviews; manage KRI including Monthly Annual Review, Covenants tracking and Trigger Event tracking; coordinate on MAS exercises, internal & external audit
  • Prepare presentations and meeting materials for management and business reviews

Requirements

  • Minimum 3-5 years related working experience preferably with finance/audit or control function background
  • Strong follow-up skills, responsive and proactive
  • Detail-minded and able to multi-task
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Good understanding on lending and deposit products is preferred
  • Familiar with banking policies and regulations
