DBS Bank is seeking a highly motivated and experienced individual to join our Global Financial Markets Operations team in Singapore as a Senior Associate. This role is to provide end to end treasury operation support for Treasury & Markets and its regional centres.
Key Accountabilities:
- Provide end to end settlement support for T&M structured products
- Oversee/manage day to day processing operations and resolves pending aging trades and breaks.
- Monitoring of the life cycle of each structured trade which comprise of periodic fixing, settlement and validation.
- A good understanding on the derivatives products offered by Treasury.
Job Responsibilities
- Perform end to end deal validation for Structured Products: - FX Derivatives in treasury system against source documents.
- Perform pre settlement confirmation with counterparties.
- Liaising of settlement or fixing with the respective local T&M branches or Wealth Ops
- Monitoring expiration at various cut-off time and triggered for potential payouts.
- Reconciliation of trades btw systems.
- Reading and understanding Termsheets and cross referencing with creation of structured deal calculators.
Job Requirements
- 3-5 years of banking experience, specifically in the Structured Products – FX derivatives products.
- Experience in various operation functions which includes processing, reconciliations, settlements etc
- Good understanding of the end to end transaction management processes, predominantly in Structured products
- Proficient in MS Excel and MS Access or VBA is added advantage.
- Team player, committed, self confidence and an eye for details.
- Willing to work on splits Ops locations
