Senior Assistant Manager, Wellbeing Development (University Wellbeing Office)

NTU's University Wellbeing Office was established to provide a strong wellbeing support ecosystem for employees and students. With positive mental health as a key priority, you will be part of a team to coordinate new efforts, including strengthening a culture of mutual respect and collegial support, expanding preventive and outreach programmes, ensuring timely intervention, improving counselling services, and strengthening policies, procedures and partnerships.

The ideal candidate for this position will play a key role in implementing marketing initiatives to develop and promote the NTU community wellbeing, enhance wellbeing support competencies within the NTU support structure, as well as grow the NTU wellbeing community. The candidate will also support the team lead on planning, developing, and deploying wellbeing initiatives, such as talks, events, and co-lead campaigns to promote and enhance health and wellbeing of the NTU community.

Key Responsibilities:

Wellbeing marketing, promotion and resource management

  • Develop and implement marketing and promotional content for the University Wellbeing Office's wellbeing programmes, events, and initiatives.

  • Assist in analysing impact of programmes and trends.

  • Provide recommendations for wellbeing marketing and promotional strategies and content to improve and to increase reach and impact of programmes.

  • Ensure a customer-centric operation/process with the end users satisfaction in mind.

  • Develop and facilitate the production and distribution of wellbeing resources for the NTU community.

  • Broaden the use of and improve content/resources on existing digital platforms (e.g., Telegram, revamp of webpages) for publicity to the NTU community.

Event Management

  • Assist in the development and implementation of wellbeing talks, events, and campaigns, to raise awareness of wellbeing issues and support resources.

  • Co-lead the team in logistical and administrative planning and execution of the University Wellbeing Office's wellbeing events and campaigns.

  • Assist in collecting data to evaluate the effectiveness of wellbeing initiatives to improve future programmes.

Stakeholder Engagement

  • Identify relevant stakeholders who can contribute to wellbeing initiatives.

  • Work closely with stakeholders to plan, develop and advance joint initiatives that address the diverse wellbeing needs of the NTU community.

Requirements:

  • Minimally a bachelor's degree in any related field from a recognised University. Specialisation in marketing, communications, event management, etc. preferred.

  • Good grasp of the motivations, behaviours and preferences in the tertiary education demographics (i.e. students and employees)

  • Proven ability in developing and implementing effective marketing/social media strategies and campaigns for large audiences with diverse needs.

  • At least 4 to 6 years of experience preferably in the tertiary education sector. Proven track record in marketing/outreach and/or social media management will be an advantage.

  • Successful experience in planning and organising events, campaigns and talks on mental health and wellbeing.

  • Keen eye on graphic design and attention to detail will be an advantage.

  • Excellent track record in developing/growing community and stakeholder engagement.

  • Experience with content management and creation for marketing (website, social media)

  • Excellent team player with strong verbal and written communication skills

  • Proficient with Microsoft 365 and technological tools and information systems relevant in a university setting.
