About The Role

As a Senior Assistant Manager for the Strategic Procurement - Community Care Department, you will be based in ALPS HQ office.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead strategic sourcing initiatives for medical and non-medical supplies, medical and non-medical equipment, and services across a network of Comcare providers, including non-PHI community hospitals, nursing homes, and hospices.
• Collaborate with Comcare provider representatives to analyse spending patterns and define key requirements across various product and service categories.
• Continuously monitor market trends and intelligence for assigned categories, conducting thorough cost analyses and risk assessments to support optimal value in procurement decisions.
• Negotiate contracts with vendors in alignment with procurement policies and procedures, ensuring favorable terms and conditions.
• Manage contracts and maintain effective supplier relationships to ensure the timely delivery and quality of services.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Science, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Strong interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with Comcare provider representatives and negotiate with vendors.
• A minimum of 5-8 years of relevant experience is preferred, with strong fundamentals in procurement, including sourcing tools, processes, business conduct, and supplier and contract management.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Knowledge of Spend Analysis and SAP is preferred.
• Experience in the healthcare sector is an advantage.
