As the largest college in Nanyang Technological University Singapore, the College of Engineering (CoE) comprises five internationally known engineering schools with its engineering research output ranked amongst the top 15 universities in the world. To support and facilitate research collaborations at CoE, we are looking for suitable candidates to be part of the Research & Partnerships Team.
Role:
As a member of the Research & Partnerships Team, you will support the administration of research activities across CoE, with a focus on industry and research agreements as well as post-award account management. You will work closely with faculty members and central administrative offices to ensure proper governance, coordination and execution of research collaborations.
Responsibilities:
Administer industry and research agreements, including Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDAs), Project Agreements (PAs), Research Collaboration Agreements (RCAs), Master Research Collaboration Agreements (MRCAs), Memoranda of Understanding (MoUs) and Joint Lab agreements, etc.
Coordinate agreement review and approval processes with relevant internal stakeholders
Serve as a point of contact for faculty members on research agreement matters
Create and manage project records and accounts in the University's research management system
Support process improvement initiatives, including development of workflows and standard operating procedures
Provide administrative coordination to ensure timely and compliant execution of research collaborations
Any other ad-hoc initiatives and assignments undertaken by the Office
Requirements:
A good University Degree, preferably with prior experience in research administration and/or grant management
At least 3 years of relevant work experience
Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills with the ability to multi-task
Strong interpersonal and analytical skills
Strong written and oral communication skills when engaging with stakeholders
Good time management skills
Flexibility and Adaptability in a fast-paced environment
IT savvy with good knowledge in Microsoft Office Applications
