Responsibilities:
- Plan, implement, and maintain horticultural and landscape works to promote healthy plant growth and optimal aesthetics.
- Develop and execute horticultural maintenance programmes for assigned sites.
- Conduct regular plant health assessments, diagnose diseases, pests, or nutrient deficiencies, and recommend appropriate treatments.
- Oversee daily operations of landscape maintenance teams and external contractors.
- Select suitable plant species based on soil conditions, climate, and design requirements.
- Prepare horticultural reports, maintenance schedules, and inventory records.
- Liaise with landscape contractors, consultants, and relevant authorities on horticultural matters.
- Ensure compliance with NParks regulations, environmental standards, and workplace safety requirements.
- Monitor and maintain irrigation systems and soil conditions to support sustainable plant health.
- Support landscaping improvement projects and sustainability initiatives.
Requirements:
- Recognised Degree in Horticulture, Contract Management, or a related field experience in healthcare or hotel settings is an added advantage.
- Certified Practising Horticulturist (CPH) qualification is an added advantage.
- Demonstrated leadership and project management experience.
- Strong interpersonal, writing, and communication skills for effective stakeholder engagement.
- Analytical, meticulous, and able to work independently with a high level of initiative.
- Proven ability to work collaboratively as a team player.
