(Senior) Executive / Assistant Manager - Clinical Outcome Coordinator (Orthopaedic Surgery)

About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Clinical Outcome Coordinator to support the custodian of the Orthopaedic Surgery registry in establishing and maintaining the cluster's clinical database for research and outcome tracking. The role is pivotal in ensuring high-quality data collection, adherence to regulatory requirements, and supporting clinical research efforts.

Responsibilities

Clinical & Research Support

  • Maintain and support the Orthopaedic Surgery clinical registry for research and outcome tracking.
  • Ensure compliance with Good Clinical Practice (GCP), Human Biomedical Research Act (HBRA), and MOH guidelines.
  • Prepare, submit, and update Domain Specific Review Board (DSRB) applications.
  • Review inclusion/exclusion criteria with the registry custodian.
  • Obtain informed consent and explain study objectives to participants.
  • Monitor participant outcomes, follow-up visits, and ensure timely post-operative data collection.
  • Ensure accuracy of participant assessments and consistency between source data and database entries.
  • Prepare data sets for doctors research studies.
  • Maintain regulatory files, DSRB correspondence, and patient logs.
  • Submit and present monthly reports and clinical indicators to reporting officers.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to enhance clinical outcomes and patient satisfaction.

Additional Duties

  • Attend ward rounds, lectures, seminars, and courses when required.
  • Perform other duties assigned by the Reporting Officer or senior management.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Health Sciences or State-Registered Nurse with relevant diploma/post-basic qualification.
  • Patient-care experience preferred.
  • Strong clinical knowledge and ability to manage multiple tasks.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
