The Corporate Communications Office (CCO) enhances NTU's reputation by raising awareness of the University's vision, mission, and achievements in education, research, and innovation.
CCO is home to a world-class team of communicators that has won international, regional and local awards in public relations, marketing and communication.
We are looking for a senior communications professional to lead donor and alumni communications and serve as social media editor for the University. This is a strategic and hands-on role at the heart of the University's fundraising and alumni engagement mission. Reporting to the Head of Public Relations and matrix reporting to the Head of Digital Communications, you will:
Develop and execute integrated communications plans for fundraising and alumni engagement campaigns.
Produce high-quality content across print and digital channels including impact reports, donor appeals, alumni communications, and social media.
Manage and grow social media channels with a strong editorial and brand voice.
Partner with the University's advancement and alumni engagement offices, and academic units to source and tell compelling impact stories.
Maintain editorial standards and manage external creative vendors.
Support fundraising campaigns and giving day initiatives with persuasive, audience-appropriate content.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in communication, journalism or a related discipline.
At least 10 - 12 years of experience in communications, editorial, or content strategy.
Prior experience in advancement, philanthropy, alumni relations, or higher education preferred.
Excellence in producing clear, well-written content tailored across platforms and audiences.
Strong project management and prioritisation skills, able to manage multiple concurrent initiatives while maintaining quality and meeting deadlines.
Effective in a dual-reporting, cross-functional environment, with strong stakeholder engagement and influencing skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills proficiency in Mandarin will be an advantage, as the role involves engaging alumni from Chinese-speaking communities.
