The Opportunity

The Senior Art Director reports to the Associate Creative Director and is responsible for developing strong creative ideas and bringing them to life through exceptional visual craft. You'll work across global, regional and local brands in categories including beauty, pharma, tech, education, and beyond, creating work across social, digital, content and integrated campaigns. You'll also play an important role in mentoring junior creatives and helping raise the creative standard of the team.

What You'll Get To Do

• Conceptualise & Art Direct: Develop bold, original ideas and distinctive visual directions in collaboration with copywriters, strategists, account teams and other creatives.

• Own the Craft: Take ideas from initial concept through to final execution, ensuring a consistently high standard of art direction, design and visual storytelling.

• Think Social-First: Create work that understands how people engage with content today, while being able to extend ideas across broader integrated campaigns.

• Mentor Junior Creatives: Guide and support junior creatives, helping them strengthen their ideas, visual thinking and execution.

• Present Creative Work: Clearly articulate and present creative thinking internally and to clients, working closely with the Associate Creative Director to develop and strengthen ideas.

• AI-Enabled Visual Craft: Have a strong working knowledge of AI tools for visual development, and understand how to use them thoughtfully to enhance creative output.

• Stay Culturally Relevant: Keep close to culture, social behaviour, design trends, emerging technology and new creative formats to ensure the work feels fresh and relevant.

What We're Looking For

• Strong agency experience (6 years+) with an exceptional portfolio showcasing both conceptual thinking and visual craft.

• Recognition for Creative Excellence: Creative awards or recognised work that demonstrates your ability to create impactful, original ideas is an advantage.

• Strong Visual Storytelling: Experience creating across social content, digital, film and integrated campaigns.

• Social-First Mindset: A strong understanding of platforms such as TikTok, Instagram and emerging social formats.

• Strong Conceptual Ability: Able to go beyond beautiful execution and contribute genuinely strong creative ideas.

• AI Craft Knowledge: Comfortable using emerging AI tools as part of the creative process, particularly for visual exploration, image generation, prototyping and execution.

• Mentoring Experience: Comfortable guiding junior creatives and helping elevate the quality of their work.

• Client Presentation Skills: Confident presenting creative ideas and explaining the thinking behind them.

• Motion Graphics & Editing Skills: Experience with motion design or video editing is a plus, but not a requirement.
