Responsibilities
- Coordinate design detailing between Clients and Consultants to support the Planning Manager in delivering accurate architectural solutions.
- Review, update, and coordinate all architectural work including shop drawings to ensure alignment with project requirements.
- Resolve site architectural issues such as drawing discrepancies, method statements, or correspondences by implementing effective methods using BIM software or equivalent tools to maintain quality and productivity.
- Liaise and coordinate with sub-contractors and vendors to mitigate conflicts, disputes, and abortive work, ensuring smooth project execution.
- Ensure compliance with architectural specifications and authority requirements to uphold quality standards without deviation.
- Schedule architectural works, manage material requisition, control costs, supervise projects, and maintain documentation in accordance with the Master Programme.
- Review project specifications, tender clarifications, and construction drawings to support Contract and Procurement management.
- Prepare construction method statements and technical proposals to facilitate smooth work transitions.
- Inspect ongoing work, resolve issues, and monitor rectifications to maintain project quality.
- Coordinate all architectural drawings and works, manage submission and status updates of shop drawings, samples, mock-ups, and materials, and supervise work progress.
- Liaise closely with clients, consultants, and sub-contractors, conducting routine inspections of installed works to ensure compliance and quality.
- Prepare and coordinate QM/CONQUAS Assessments to meet quality management standards.
- Compile and hand over architectural documentation including As-built drawing submissions to complete project deliverables.
Required competencies and certifications
- Relevant Degree or Diploma in Architecture or its equivalent.
- Minimum 4-5 years of experience, preferably with CONQUAS/QM experience on PPVC or PBU projects.
- Ability to interpret construction drawings to identify and resolve discrepancies.
- Awareness of requirements of relevant authorities (e.g., BCA).
- Good team collaboration skills.
Preferred competencies and qualifications
- Completed QM project experience.
- Registered Core-trade Foremen or Supervisor certification.
