Senior Architectural Coordinator (Site-Based)
We are representing a leading A1 Main Contractor to recruit a Senior Architectural Coordinator for a mega mixed-use development project.
This is a site-based position focused on overseeing and managing architectural works - both internal finishes and external architectural elements - from coordination through to execution and completion.
The ideal candidate is a proactive and responsible professional with prior experience in large-scale commercial or hospitality projects, capable of leading on-site architectural activities and ensuring timely, high-quality project delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and manage all architectural works on site, including internal fit-out, finishes, faade, and external architectural components.
- Coordinate with consultants, subcontractors, and site teams to ensure works are executed in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, and project schedules.
- Oversee daily site progress and resolve any on-site architectural or interface issues promptly.
- Review drawings, highlight discrepancies, and propose practical solutions for construction challenges.
- Ensure quality workmanship, compliance with design intent, and adherence to safety and regulatory standards.
- Liaise with subcontractors and vendors for material approvals, samples, and mock-ups.
- Conduct inspections and assist in the preparation of architectural handover and completion documentation.
- Support project and construction managers in sequencing, scheduling, and progress tracking for architectural works.
- Maintain clear communication and collaboration among all project stakeholders to ensure smooth execution.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Diploma or Degree in Architecture, Building, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 5-8 years of architectural coordination experience in Singapore, preferably with a main contractor.
- Strong exposure to large-scale commercial or hospitality developments able to adapt to a mega mixed development environment.
- Proven ability to manage internal and external architectural works independently.
- Solid understanding of construction detailing, finishing standards, and sequencing.
- Proficient in reading architectural, structural, and M&E drawings.
- Strong communication, leadership, and site management skills.
- Proactive, responsible, and able to work effectively in a dynamic project environment.
