Responsibilities
- Oversee site coordination with all trades involved. Prepare and submit shop drawings, materials, and Method of Statements (MOS). Ensure work aligns with contractual agreements and design specifications. Plan architectural works and micro-schedule in collaboration with other disciplines. Liaise effectively with subcontractors and suppliers. Implement and maintain the Quality Control (QC) plan alongside the Quality and Service Department. Procure and monitor related architectural materials. Conduct inspections, material testing, and trade demonstrations. Ensure the installation of tiles and walls adheres to the setting out plan. Verify variations and prepare corresponding back charges. Attend subcontractor meetings and ensure compliance with the TOP checklist. Manage architectural samples, trade demos, and the review of shop drawings submitted by consultants. Update architectural progress using scheduling tools. Perform additional duties as assigned by the immediate supervisor or management. Ensure a safe working environment for all activities.
Requirements
- Diploma or Degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline recognized by the Professional Engineers Board. Relevant certifications in structural and architectural disciplines (e.g., NCCS, BCSS, Safety, Lifting). Minimum of three (3) years of relevant work experience. Strong leadership skills to guide subcontractors and maintain project timelines with high-quality outcomes. Experience with QM projects and registration as Coretrade foreman is preferred. Solid understanding of architectural specifications and BCA quality requirements. Proficient in Microsoft Office and familiar with Building Information Modelling (BIM). Willingness to travel to project site offices within Singapore.
