Senior Architect

Your role:

We're looking for a Senior Architect to join our Domain Architecture within the Personal & Corporate Banking and WM Switzerland & International (WMPC) Technology to:

. provide modern architecture standards aligned with UBS and WMPC specific principles, strategy and policies. Aligning and driving new demand for security services with Technology Services

. guide and support AI and strategic initiatives ensuring adoption of tech standards

. provide technical and security architecture consulting

Your team:

You'll be joining the WMPC Technology CTO team based in Singapore, focusing on ensuring alignment with UBS Technology architecture and standards. We also communicate solutions and recommendations to non-technical staff in a clear and understandable way and create detailed technical specifications for solution design and implementation. Furthermore, we develop domain and technical architecture standards that consider performance, scalability, security, and other non-functional factors.

Another one of our focus points is to enforce group quality standards (non-functional requirements) for resilience, security, scalability, etc. as well as to ensure the stream is maintaining or managing technical risks and controls in a compliant way.

Your expertise :

. ideally 10+ years of experience working as a domain and/or Technical Architect, ideally in an financial organisation

. extensive experience in data, artificial intelligence (AI), technical architecture and cloud platforms

. knowledge and passion for security

. excellent knowledge of IT infrastructure products (networks, OS, middleware, databases, etc)

. proven experience in application development (Java, Web) and cloud integration with the ability to quickly develop Proof of Concept code

. ability to design, plan and deliver solutions in a large-scale enterprise environment that adhere to security, compliance, reliability and operational standards

. organized and focused, with the ability to work accurately under pressure

. skilled communicator who adapts style to audience and conveys clear, accurate and concise information
