Key Responsibilities
Design Coordination
Review and coordinate architectural drawings, specifications, and shop drawings
Resolve design clashes with MEP, structural, and other disciplines
Liaise with consultants, architects, and project teams to clarify design intent
Project Management Support
- Monitor architectural work progress and ensure adherence to project timelines
- Assist in the preparation of method statements, schedules, and technical reports
- Coordinate site inspections and ensure quality control of architectural works
Documentation & Compliance
- Maintain accurate records of drawings, revisions, and approvals
- Ensure compliance with local building codes, regulations, and industry standards
- Support preparation of as-built drawings and handover documentation
Team Support & Leadership
- Mentor junior architectural coordinators and assist in task allocation
- Attend coordination meetings and provide technical input
- Support value engineering and design optimization initiatives
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Architecture or related field
- 5-10 years of experience in construction projects, preferably in building works
- Strong knowledge of architectural drawings, specifications, and construction methods
