Currently, we are looking for Senior Application Support Specialist which would be based in Singapore
Requirements and Responsibilities:
- Bachelor's degree with minimum 5 years experience in relevant activities.
- Continuously monitor the health and performance of production applications using monitoring tools and dashboards.
- Respond to and resolve application incidents, ensuring minimal impact on business operations. Document incidents and their resolutions.
- Conduct root cause analysis for recurring issues and implement corrective actions to prevent future occurrences.
- Work closely with development, QA, and operations teams to identify and resolve application issues.
- Analyze application performance and implement tuning measures to optimize system performance.
- Assist in the deployment of new releases and patches, ensuring minimal disruption to production services.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation of application support procedures, incident resolutions, and system configurations.
- Provide support to end-users and stakeholders, addressing their queries and issues related to production applications.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and automation to enhance the efficiency and reliability of application support.
- Hands-on experience in application support or development in Python, SQL, Unix, Java, AWS, Datadog, CICD Pipelines, and Git.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to interact with diverse stakeholders.
- Experience with the Systems Development Life Cycle (SDLC) implementation methodology and/or Agile methodologies such as Scrum and Kanban.
- Agile, fast learner, and able to adapt to changes.
